- Visit Óbidos (25km away from Peniche - north direction ). it's a medieval village with a castle, typical portuguese houses and a big wall protection; The typical drink it's "Ginja";

- Visit the Budha Éden - Quinta da Bacalhoa, it's the biggest oriental garden of the Europe - 30km away from Peniche ;

- The beach of Nazaré – 50 km away ( the place where Garret McNamara enjoy the Portugal big waves) and you'll find the old 'ladies' with the typical clothing that are renting rooms in the streets. In Peniche you'll find also some 'ladies' doing this job, because Peniche have lots of people that was born in Nazaré;
